I should have some pictures of roses among my old printed copies or slides somewhere, but I couldn't find any in time... So, all I can do is thank you for the beautiful picture! The rose is the queen of flowers, no question about it, and a quick search on the net will find many quotes about roses. I found this one very true: "Who reaches with a clumsy hand for a rose must not complain if the thorns scratch" (Heinrich Heine)
i do have pix of roses but need to be unearthed. like 20 years back...
I wish I'd stopped by to see this lovely post and picture earlier, because I do have rose pictures from last summer that I didn't get around to posting.
