We can make a difference - Earth Day

"We can make a difference, we can make a change.
We can make the world a better place."
Jaci Velasquez

You can check out Jaci's website (clicking her name above) and listen to some of her songs. This flower is from Floss Silk Tree. One of my favorites. During our Summer, there are thousands of them, as you travel you can see the trees along the road, mostly on farm entrances and narrow dirt roads.
Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd. It is a special day to learn about our planet and how to take care of it. Besides, my son and I get older on this day! So, being born on such an important date gives me even more reasons to do my share to help spread the word about keeping our planet green!

Cris, I wish you and your son (which one?) have a very happy birthday on April 22nd. I also would like to say that is very important to be conscious about our enviroment and everybody must be aware about the danger of a destroyed Earth for our sons, grandsons and the human race. God give us the Earth perfect and we have the obligation to care of it!
Simple actions make the difference. Let´s do our best.

Neat post. I have a tendancy to pass up Earth Day, more out of being too busy so thanks for the reminder.

This is such a neat tree, thanks for sharing it with us.

Hope you both have a happy birthday.

Perfect pictures for Earth Day. I wish as a world we'd come together to take better care of our home and the home of our future children.

Oh Cris, I missed your birthday, and your son's. So sorry! I hope you both had a wonderful day, with a nice big cake and some fun presents :)
The tree is gorgeous! You certainly have some beautiful trees in Brazil.
Here on the farm we try to be good stewards of our little part of the Earth. Thanks for the reminder.
