These cars certainly wouldn't make it to a car show. They are all in such bad shape and they have been there on the same spot for years! My guess is that these cars are considered Classic, and were built long before pollution control, fuel economy and safety regulations became issues. I am sure they were very popular and expensive at the time and were once considered the best car of the year...

My Dad and my husband would love to roam around a collection like this!
They are both lovers of classic/vintage cars!

I was about to say the same thing as Susie...my husband would love to take a stroll through that field! :) And my dad, too, if he were still alive.
I love old cars and that last one looks like Mater from the Cars movie! Can you tell I have a 7 year old? :) Anyhow...love these!
Great collection! Benjamin (6) would love them because of one of his favorite movies, Cars. :0)

Olá Cris! Esses carros abandonados devem fazer a alegria de muito colecionador. Mas acontece que para restaurar esssa preciosidades, a pessoa precisa ter dinheiro. É um hobby bem caro. Beijos!
Hey Cris, the friend who went cycling from Calif. to DC do not have a blog...in fact they did it without much fan fare that is generally associated with such activities...they decided to do it on whim and managed to live it out :)
Wowww...! I like watching such old vehicle and their design...last time, when I visited upstate NY, I shot couple of snaps!
thanks for sharing Cris..!
I love old cars and so does Norm. We hope, someday, to get one and restore it!!
Beautiful pictures! I don't dare show Norm .. he'd drool on the keyboard!
Blessings
I think the old trucks make for great pictures...I don't know why. I guess they have a story to tell. Like maybe once little kids rode on the back to town to sell their produce..I just like them!
Hi, Cris. Your pictures' ideas really surprises me. These old cars are fantastic. I which I had one and be invited for the Overhauling program on T.V. It would be great!!
xoxoxo
oh i feel sad for these cras. all their glory is so rusted away now.. :(
There was an old rusty truck parked on an abandoned homestead behind our house when I was a kid and we took great pleasure in sitting in it for hours on summer afternoons "driving" to all kinds of wonderful places. What fun that was!
My husband just happened to look over my shoulder and saw your old cars and trucks pics. He loved them! Like so many men he loves vintage vehicles....and old machinery...like you :)
Great pics!
I hope you're working shorter hours again, but I suspect you're still putting in the longer days.
Cute photos.
Cris, fazia tempo que não vinha te visitar aqui! Quantas fotos lindas e coloridas, quantos lugares ótimos e quanta gentileza em mostrar um pouco do que seu olhar capta!!! Bjsss
..it is very sad to see such wonderful old cars just standing there and rusting away.
Just think the stories they could tell, places they have been, seen happy people and ...
