The Earthmover

This post is dedicated to my husband who started this collection a few years ago when he was a Consultant and implemented a project at Caterpillar. He is on his way back from India and will be home tomorrow! He is always on the move and on the Earth's surface! We miss you honey!

If you want to take part in the yellow project, please visit Anna's blog and find out more wonderful pictures that many fellow bloggers are taking!

I like the second one. It's fun. I tried to get my wife to pull over yesterday so I could photograph an actual Earthmover...she didn't. So I was happy to see that someone got that shot for me ;)

There's a fair amount of construction going on near my home, and I've thought about shooting the trucks for Project Yellow. Since they're on the move and I don't have a safety helmet, I've kept my distance.

Your shots are a "safe" take on a similar item. And they're a whole lot cleaner, too :).

Wonderful yellow subjects! I love your "yellow" shots Cris and one of them just gave me an idea for another. I will have to give it a try and see if it turns out.

Very nice collection! Can't tell if they are Tonka Toys but that is what they remind me of.

I think it is wonderful that he has such a collection. At any age we all have to love something enough to save and give us memories.

Hi Cris,
I enjoyed looking at all your yellow photos. I never thought of how much of that color there is all around us, but it certainly is sunny and bright!
