Terracota Planters - Vasos de Cerâmica

Needless to say these pictures were taken at the bed and breakfast inn we stayed at a couple of weeks ago. The planters were hand-painted by artist Roberto Campos. He would come to the hotel, sit there with his color palette in hand, and paint the planters using only his memory for the scenes. Isn't that amazing?

These planters are works of art, Cris! Do you know how old they are? They look old, but maybe the artist created this antique effect on purpose... Anyway, they are beautiful!

Cinara and Susie, they are about 2 years old, as they were painted as the hotel was being built.

I love the planters. How nice it would be to have those around your own patio! He is a very talented artist.

Deana, I can't wait to have our house built to have some like that...

Connie, they have lots of old times and sea themes.

Kenju, and they vary from 1 to 3 feet high, really gorgeous!
