Houses by the sea level

Paraty... I love this charming colonial town and its cobblestone streets constructed by the Portuguese settlers over 300 years ago. That is where we spent our honeymoon almost 15 years ago.

The full moon floods happen when the seawater invades the streets. It was pure luck that we were able to be there on vacation last week during full moon and high tides! I can't take any credit for that.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Oh wow. what a romantic place. I am worried about the flood though!

We honeymooned in Lake Tahoe...

So you're turning 40 soon. How's your year been ? LOL. I am hoping to survive the MLC.

and yeah, weeks ago, remember the yahoo headline about the biggest, brightest moon ever? well day after that, it rained hard in my hometown in cagayan de oro and the flood was just the biggest ever, too...

How lucky for you to revisit this charming town where you honeymooned. It's delightful! I love the style of the houses, and the lovely colors.
I hope the flooding doesn't get too bad.
