Spring has sprung

He loves me... he loves me not (in Portuguese: bem me quer, mal me quer). A little girl plucking the petals of a daisy... can you relate to that? I can! I wonder if this is a common rhyme in all countries, well, it is here in Brazil. Daisies are here... and it means Spring is here too!

This is my contribution to Today's Flowers hosted by Santilli.

Beautiful daisies and fun rhyme. ;-) Thanks for including the Portuguese translation, too. I like to learn something new. ;-)

Daisies are my very favorite and I love these shots! As a young girl and still today I love the 'loves me' rhyme. When I doodle flowers I always make sure the petals are odd numbered so it always works out.
We're expecting snow flurries so I envy your spring.

I SO love these daisy pictures! :)

I had to be reminded that it is spring there just as it is fall here...but yes, that rhyme is something I grew up with, as well...
That, and rubbing buttercups under the chin as a child and if it was yellow, it meant you liked boys. (It was before we wanted to like boys!) ;)

Blessings,
~Tammy

That rhyme is definately one all little girls here sing while picking petals at sometime when they are young. Daisies are one of my favorite flowers and were my wedding bouquet as well.

Springtime sounds wonderful...
Fall is pretty but it is hard to enjoy when I know winter is on the way.
Love your photos.

Hope you are doing well.
