Spring and Fall - the equinox

Mount Elbert - Colorado - 2004

These mountains are beautifully covered with snow in the Winter but when Summer time comes they reveal amazing flowers, wild rivers and gorgeous landscape. I found it hard to believe that such delicate flowers survived after a harsh Winter.

It makes me think of the many gifts that God has given us showing his faithfullness and how we use them through our callings to glorify Him.

"See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land." Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (NIV)

Spring may be here, but we are covered with white snow again. Not that I object --- I love snow and know that this snow will bring much needed moisture for the 'real' spring.

Blessings
